Crandall High School hosts CCMR Fair for Juniors and Seniors

The Crandall High School gymnasium was buzzing with potential Thursday morning as juniors and seniors explored post-graduation opportunities during the school’s annual College, Career, and Military Readiness Fair.

Sixty organizations participated in the event, including two- and four-year universities, trade schools, and branches of the military. Representatives met with students, answered questions, and shared information about college, career, and military pathways.

“The point is exposure,” said CHS counselor Kathy Cox. “More than anything, we want students to understand every available opportunity for them after high school.”

Crandall High School has hosted the fair for years, with Cox leading the effort for the past 11 years.

Cox added that visiting representatives routinely praise the students for arriving prepared, asking insightful questions, and showing great respect.
